So, similarly to the latest G.A.S purchases thread, post what you bought.

I saw Domestic House Cats live (kinda like Tenacious D, but 15 years younger guys), never heard of them before, loved them and got the CD.

Saw both of them live yesterday and it was one of the greatest gigs I'ver ever seen. Great musicians, great music, great sound (even live).
(post-rock / instrumental) I had to buy their CDs immediately

hasn't arrived yet, but I already orderd it, loving the stuff on their myspace.
Really digging the hardcore influence and the fact that they still don't sound
    like a metalcore band :D

I just bought the new Ocean album LP. Not a CD, but still a worthy purchase.

Hmmm - I've bought the following New discs in the past month plus:

Jimi Hendrix "West Coast Seattle Boy" Vinyl (Boxed Set)
    Buddy Guy "Living Proof" Vinyl
    Royal Hunt "X"
    Metallica "Live at Grimeys"
    Accept "Blood of Nations"
Megadeth "Rust in Peace Live" DVD

Plus a few others I'm sure - I just need to look to see whats new.

I tend to buy at least two pieces of music (CD/Vinyl/DVD) on average a week - some of it either getting vinyl issues of things I only have on old CD (if they have been re-released as special editions) or just getting some "new to me" older music - stuff I get turned onto and never owned.

I think only metal I've bought lately was James LaBrie's Static Impulse.
