I listen to a lot more than metal, in fact the past month I have listened to barely any :erk:, but not all of the other music is new stuff, I'm not really up to date, so I can't really choose albums from 2008.

    Hands down.

Am I the only one who thinks that 2008 was - overall - a very weak year for metal records?

Turisas and Moonsorrow both released awesome albums though :D
As for only listening to metal, I tend to only follow metal bands because they put on thebest live shows, so I never get news about other bands untill someone tells me about it, be it tours/albums/ect. Makes it difficult when no one I know listens to that shit though :p.

I'd also like to contest anyone calling Agalloch's The White a metal album.

I wouldn't call it an EP myself, sounds to me like a full album, but it sure as hell isn't metal.
