enjoy the crazyness of a friend of mine and me

Far beyond the sea and distant lands
Came men with thirty cars
Had wanted to reach Wacken by night
But the traffic was not on their side

And as the line grew longer and longer
The sweat ran down our cheeks
The wheel was turned towards Hamburg
The car flew up again

Wacken and beyond!
That's where the car will us guide
For fame and for beer
Set wheels for those lands so known!

Lae and Syl, Eric, Tim and Sanne
Were glad to be off the wheel
Tabitha had drunk too much again
Now hanging herself overboard

The schweizischen twins were excited as always
Adventure was their game
Myself, Ingrid the Bastard
was out to find my beer

Wacken and beyond
That's where the car will us guide
For fame and for beer
Set wheels for those lands unknown

Who is "I" without a past?
A river without a source?
An event without a cause?

Roads of different lengths
Some longer, some shorter
So many of them spun together

The crones keep on weaving
The algorithm of our lives
Cause and effect, the fates of men

We know the way to Wacken
Upstream the river Weser
You take us to the portage
And further North

Long is the way to Wacken
Long are the rivers in the North
Far lies the land that Ingrid
And her company desire to reach

Many dangers lie ahead
Some of us may never return
Rather sold as a slave to the bands
Than chained to your tent, chained by your life!
