it needs definetely more than one spin to really be able to dig deep - I can only talk about myself, but I had the feeling that during the pre-listening I wasnīt fully able to really get the complete broadwith of the album because it is, as that reviwer also said, pretty complex music-wise.

So having finally listened to Stand Up and Fight I have to say I fucking love it and I cannot wait to be bellowing it out when I see them in March.
And the chorus is epiiiiiiiiiiic. I'm such a fanboy.

I love that they're moving into a more "movie music" direction. I'm just really diggin' this kind of epicness, if you know what I mean. After listening to Stand up and Fight, I am sure that this is going to be one kickass album.
I can't wait till it's out, just one more month to survive 8) |

well, there were certain lucky press-people to hear it at two pre-listenings esp for press-people (one in germany and one in finland), and those only heard it already completely.
the rest of the people only hear the stuff from that download-thing and noooooow Stand up and Fight can also be listened to on myspace... |

I just checked Nuclear Blast's webshop, seems like that's the only place you can pre-order the album already, and there are 3 versions:
CD CD + LP 2 CD I suppose the 2CD is the "limited digibook", but it this goes the way it went with TVW there are might be a lot more versions of the album out xD |

I think the CD is just tha album, the 2CD with the bonus material and the CD+LP...no idea.
i hate all those million of versions (but well, as long as they donīt do it like Apocalyptica did with their album, you still have sort of an overview hahahaha) |

^ The guy from Metallrepubliken sez:
"Warlord Nygård, sångare i Turisas, det har visa sig att han e nån slag av geni." In English: "Warlord Nygård, the singer of Turisas, he apparently is some sort of genius." :D He also said that TVV was definitely one of the best albums ever released in Finland and other compliments.

Well German and Swedish are related quite closely.

I was happy that it had more growling on it.
Because The two that we've already heard were pretty clean and "marching".

I'm waiting on the rest of the album before jumping to the conclusion that it's all as bad as the title track. But it's just not as majestic sounding as anything from TVW, rousing chorus there is none
