you should have seen my face when I heard the song first.
I nearly fell off the chair I was sitting on, had eyes wide open and being as big as plates, me wondering "what the hell is THAT?" but once that thought disappered I actually started to love the song...plus I love it as a live-song...

Yeah, Hunting Pirates is so awesome!! I heard it too in rytmikorjaamo and it sounded so new and great!

I think calling it "fresh" would suit pretty much, at least for my taste...and I think the songs are live better than on CD even though the CD is also really good, but I am just a live-gig-person who mostly prefers live-versions *laughing*

No seriously, I don´t know and I think the band doesn´t know details either, and I don´t think the management would like to tell you XD So the only thing left is asking the radio station themselves...

Sorry, it's the best bootleg I could find - you should hear the ones that were worse. Next time, we should convince these bootleggers to carry professional grade recording studio equipment into the show venues

but this is going to be great party song at live! But when i heard Hunting Pirates first time (at live) I was so suprised by good way and wanted to sing along, but i didnt know the lyrics.

Thanx for the link!

They played End of an Empire in the clip, wich i hadn't heard before. It sounded a bit like somekind of musical in my ears, (was it that he meant by LLoyd Webber-parts?) a pretty heavy and epic one though.
It didn't really correspond to my imaginated picture of the song, as i thought i would be a more aggressive piece to portray a crumbeling giants last breath. Quite progressive parts aswell.

Amazon Sure, some of these samples hardly say anything because of the weird sections they choose but it's better than nothing.
Only a couple of weeks left. I'm sure I'll manage.

For the last few days, I've had this feeling that most music reviews of the new album have missed the mark by exaggerating the exact magnitude of the musical change in Turisas' sound. So far I have listened to 4 full songs and the Amazon snippets. There is no "new direction" per se, it's just improved and polished quality work that builds on top of previous albums. Simple as that.
