Ozzfest Uk 2003

Thought this could be a thread purely for Ozzfest, any rumours, or things you hear just say them in here...

i've heard that Ozzfest is going to be in September this year, instead of the typical May 24th weekend....

Ive heard that Sabbath MAY be headlining, and Pantera might be playing as well but that's probably bullshit. Korn and disturbed have also been tipped

very very bad experience last year...(although I did get my nipple pierced and then ran around showing it to everyone for free beer, which wasn't bad)

The organisation last year was shit......

...and not being able to get near the stage was utter bollox....

......slayer were good........not much else was.......

I only live ten miles away.....

2001 was fucking awful, 2002 was ok i guess but the weather spoiled it. I wasnt affected by the barrier because i got there early and they were handing out the wristbands to get in the middle, but still that was fucking gay, it was great watching the people fight the security guards

Ozzfest last year was completely gay, I mean, you couldn't get to see any bands in the second stage (if you'd have wanted to at least), you couldn't get near the front (warning about this would be good, at least it's an incentive to get there earlier, but it's still GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY) so the only option left was to get horrifically drunk. Not worth the money...

And Some More...
Mostly shitty new metal though,

Er, are you sure you don't mean the US Ozzfest? Considering that the date hasn't even been confirmed for the UK one, it's unlikely that they've started confirming bands.

I for one, shall be giving it a miss however.
