A WotA sweater?!?! This XL all cotton garb was worn once by yours truly. I'll let it go for $13 sheckles+ postage. Hoodie bares the bands logo on the front, with a skull design on the back.

and the whole members of WOTA drunk rant about Woods of Ypres/David Gold at HC2. Hey, no one likes to hear a band they like get bashed. My self personally avoided that at HC2. I know a lot of people were asking about Woods to us. Which 90% of the time we avoided it. But hey, people get drunk and blab. It is not our fault when somone asks us what we think of Woods of Ypres and they don't like what they hear. Our drummer at the time used to be in the same band as Dan Hulse. We kind of know that band on a different level then most. When Dave was in our band (he tries to deny it and even had someone on metal archives say that he was never in the band, which was in turn removed quickly by people reporting it as false) he left on not the best terms.

Nobody in WOTA has issues with the members of Woods of Ypres (Dan, Jessica, Mezz, and the other guy). We just think the music is boring and horribly pretentious. But that's just us. Obviosuly there are people who hate our music, and thats to be expected.

As for the whole "sour grapes" or jelousy thing. Id rather be Jelous of Wolven Ancestry. They are younger than us, have already done a north american tour and have talent coming out of thier asses. But thier music totally kicks ass and they totally understand that to become a GREAT band you must PLAY LIVE! They are also awesome guys.

Hopes that clears up some things. Sorry we dissapointed you.

The hoodie is his to do with as he pleases. And unlike Mr. Gold. I won't delete this thread.

Yeah, I've been keeping up on the WoY vs. WotA stuff that Reign has exacerbated at times. However, the fans ultimately win because they can listen to both bands.

Exactly. Giving support to metal, espically Canadian metal is paramount over any drama, arguments between bands. Unfortunetly this kind of thing will never be totally eliminated. The best you can ask for is the fans of metal to ignore it, enjoy the music and leave the squabiling to the bands.
