Exactly that, it is amazing. It is easily in my top 5 albums of the year so far, and their best album since Empiricism. I would highly recommend picking it up.

Also what are your thoughts on Dark Adrenaline? For me, I found it to be a lot better than their last 2 albums, but I have pretty much given up hope that Lacuna Coil will one day return to the greatness of the self titled EP, In A Reverie, and Unleashed Memories. Cristina's voice is still unbelievably amazing though.

I like Dark Adrenaline a lot actually. All the songs run together on the first listen, then in the second listen they stand out a bit more, the in the third listen the cd starts to kick ass and so on and so on.

I've never listened to any of their material before Comalies and I didn't hear much from their two previous releases. So all I have to go by is Comalies and Dark Adrenaline and from what I've read, those two albums are the best of their more 'modern' era as a band.

I go with a '5 listen rule' before I decide what I think about a CD. Essentially, all I do is listen to it all the way through 5 times. I find I like most things now, since if you give a cd you don't initially like a few more chances, you start to pick up on what makes each song good and it usually ends up growing on you.

Just picked up this album today. I've only listened to it once so far and I'm very pleased with what I hear. A LOT is going on on this album, which is pretty exciting because it gives me something to discover with each listen.

I love albums like this.
