I'm addicted to Devin Townsend. I didn't know of him or his work until the release of "chicken feather" but since that album I have been hooked on him. Most recently I've been listening to his solo work more than SYL but I like both bands equally as much.
I had a chance to meet the band when I was still living in Kelowna, BC (At an SYL gig in Vancouver in May 2005). It was a real treat. Really down to Earth guys and it made me appreciate their work even more so.

I think symphony X's ''new mythology suite'' is perfect, but many would disagree with me.

Really late on this, (sorry) but yes. A big majority of people on ANUS dislike Opeth. So if you mentioned Opeth in an unfriendly way, not a lot of people would jump on and bash along, but they would agree in their heads.

Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Ozz
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction
(Outside of metal: add Stevie Ray Vaughan's 'Texas Flood' and Boston's 'Boston' to the list)
A very short list for me - a 10/10 must have absolutely no filler material. I could create a list of hundreds of 9/10's, but the only 10's I can think of are listed above.

I thought Follow the Reaper and Hatebreeder by Children of Bodom were pretty sweet albums
