Godless Rising-"Rising Hatred"
I must admit I didn't expect much from this release. I bought it on a whim from Moribund solely on the album cover being kind of cool. But I was pleasantly suprised. From track one is pure, aggressive slightly blackened death metal. Riffing is the standout on this release. Mid era Morbid Angel, older Vital Remains, some Cannibal Corpse for good measure. And the bass is audible, which is a personal plus in my opinion. All around solid, satanic death metal. Nothing special, but you'll bang your head anyway.
