Disillusion - "Back To Times Of Splendor"
Agalloch - "The Mantle"
Isis - "Oceanic"
Green Carnation - "Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness"

^ some good choices right there, even though one is ridiculously long and I can't seem to figure out how anyone has time to sit through all that. Maybe if you're doing something while listening. I guess I could try that album again in the future.

If I choose one album/band the list would be:

1. Iron Maiden - Piece of mind

I assume you're talking about LODDOD. I don't really find the length of the album/song to be it's flaw, but the part in the middle with those really annoying female vocals. Other than that though, it's awesome.

And I'm not making a top 5 list because that's just too difficult.

A year later my list is:

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Death - Individual Thought Patterns/Human
WatchTower - Energetic Disassembly
Iced Earth - Iced Earth
Blind Guardian - Battalions of Fear
