Forever's Edge releases "Chaotic Silence" - featuring Suspyre members

Late to the party on this one, but I just purchased it on Amazon and can't wait to listen.

    Parking at the law school

We've just been parking right at the venue for the past few years without any trouble. It's about as convenient as it can get.

Orphaned Land- about ORwarriOR new album

Hell, I'd love to see Orphaned Land get national exposure to begin with.

new Freak Kitchen video for Teargas Jazz

As I already expected, the new Freak Kitchen album will be in my top 5 of the year, but I think "Teargas Jazz" is one of my favorite songs of the year, period. Wow.

    Leprous = Awesome

This is one of my albums of the year, for sure. It blew me away on the first listen, and I haven't taken a single song out of my playlists since getting the album a few months back.

The Return of the "How it Happened" post...PP USA XI

Well if that's not the inspiration for a shirt for next year, I don't know what else could be. Yeah, I understand that, so I never felt completely isolated by it. I'll be at ProgPower 11 through 20, so... God, 20? What a thing to think about.

The Return of the "How it Happened" post...PP USA XI

Really, XKCD? I don't care if the prog snobbery comments makes me feel unwelcome at a festival I've been to without fail since my first (ProgPower 6)--that's awesome. (I'm not completely serious about feeling unwelcome, because I'm not the type that shits on the power metal, but I'm a huge...

ProgPower X Poll on USA Progressive Music

Thankfully Suspyre wasn't in the poll (since they were showcase), or I would have had a hard time making a pick. DSO all the way, though.

Diablo Swing Orchestra's Sing Along Songs

This is easily one of my favorite albums of the year, and I think I'd be saying that even if they didn't give me one of the most fun performances I have ever seen in my life a few weeks back. Second albums are scary. You always have to wonder if some new band just got lucky and can't make more...

    ProgPower USA X Picture Thread

I really loved those shots of Sam from Suspyre.

Introducing your first douchebag bootlegger: Leonel Perez of Perfect Prog Magazine

I'd love to see the bills YouTube sends him for hosting that video content. Oh, right.

    NVanDyk-Best wishes to you

I have to admit to tearing up after seeing the news, because your music has been a huge inspiration to me in some trouble times of the past few years, Nick. I'm also glad that you got some good news here in my home state, and my thoughts will be staying with you.

A Huge Thanks from Nightmare Records!

Lance, I have to admit that I actually avoided the Nightmare table this year. Why? Because you put on that iPod/speakers setup and I end up buying way more CDs because you're carrying way too much prog that I like. I needed to save money this year!

    Thanks from Suspyre

Well, I'm still maintaining that it was my #1 anticipation of the year and my favorite performance of the 3 days. You know how I feel! (Don't laugh too much at me in that video. Haha)

So, who else thought Suspyre rocked?

You know, maybe it's because I'm one of those guys that doesn't feel like dressing in all black is something necessary, but I've always thought this to be such a weird complaint about a band. I probably would have cringed if Suspyre overdid it on the wardrobe and came out wearing leather on...
