Late to the party on this one, but I just purchased it on Amazon and can't wait to listen.

As I already expected, the new Freak Kitchen album will be in my top 5 of the year, but I think "Teargas Jazz" is one of my favorite songs of the year, period. Wow.

This is one of my albums of the year, for sure. It blew me away on the first listen, and I haven't taken a single song out of my playlists since getting the album a few months back.

Well if that's not the inspiration for a shirt for next year, I don't know what else could be. Yeah, I understand that, so I never felt completely isolated by it. I'll be at ProgPower 11 through 20, so... God, 20? What a thing to think about. :lol:

Thankfully Suspyre wasn't in the poll (since they were showcase), or I would have had a hard time making a pick. DSO all the way, though.

This is easily one of my favorite albums of the year, and I think I'd be saying that even if they didn't give me one of the most fun performances I have ever seen in my life a few weeks back. Second albums are scary. You always have to wonder if some new band just got lucky and can't make more...

I have to admit to tearing up after seeing the news, because your music has been a huge inspiration to me in some trouble times of the past few years, Nick. I'm also glad that you got some good news here in my home state, and my thoughts will be staying with you.

Lance, I have to admit that I actually avoided the Nightmare table this year. Why? Because you put on that iPod/speakers setup and I end up buying way more CDs because you're carrying way too much prog that I like. I needed to save money this year!
