    Nergard and Nils Rue

Loved the first album. The cast of singers was perfect for the storyline. I hope they bring back Goran Edman for a song or two, he contributed a bender of a song along with the Wig-Wam singer. Looking forward to this.

Most anticipated band for PP 2015

Pretty impressive list. These are all great: Anathema (Their last 3 albums are out of this world...love their mid-period too) Riverside (Early and mid is classic and really enjoyed the last one) DC Cooper (Vocal God...will be interesting if the backing band is RH or others...too bad...

Aeon Zen Releases Fifth and Final Video in "Top 5 Riffs Series

Great band, but disappointing that they took on a djent slant in the guitars with this new release. The growlies in places were also a turn off. I think their first album is their best.

    Reviews for PRETTY MAIDS-Motherland...

This is a great disc...melodic metal bliss. I think it's even better than the highly acclaimed Pandemonium. This is also so much better than the hugely disappointing new Saxon album, and the bland yet ok Pink Cream 69 disc. I think it's a fair comparison to make between the new output of...

    The Storyteller - Dark Legacy

That's great that you guys decided to continue forthwith Marcus! Snippets sound very cool.

Appearance of Nothing- All Gods are Gone

The first one was overrated. This one may surpass it in that regard. The vocal melodies leave little too be desired, and the growlies, while not bad, are very unnecessary on here.

Aeon Zen - The Face of the Unknown

I like the first one much more. This is good, but not nearly as memorable like the debut. Plus, I don't like the choice of singers this time out. For all his great songwriting and music from this prodigy, I don't care for Rich Hinks voice, and he's on 3 tracks this time deciding to sing...

    Quitesnake(Whitesnake Tribute) with David Readman

I like David Readman quite a bit with PC69, but consider him a second rate version of DC Cooper, without the range.

    'Great' Prog Metal Releases (2005-2009)

I think there have been a good number of great traditional prog metal releases in those 4 years. Maybe not as many as before that time period, but still a great number of gems have been there for the taking. I'm thinking that as the years pass by, people get burned out or move on to other...

Anyone got any obscure prog metal recommendations?

Some that haven't been mentioned: Mystere De Notre Dame - extremely hard to find Italian prog metal, only one album was released, but it was a great one Arkhe - Italian prog metal that is highly influence by DT...too much so if you ask me Ivanhoe - Crunchy German prog metal with a sick guitar...
