    DT Nuwzzzzzzzzzzz

It didn't say that 2007 was last year...it said that this was DT's second album with Roadrunner Records, following up 2007's Systematic Chaos. Just thought I'd clear that up. And yes, I still really love DT. I actually listened to them on the train this morning and they still RULE! DT is...

    Cash vs. credit

Yes, this is very good advice. Unfortunately, you live and learn. Last year I never would have thought someone would have done that, so being my drunk self, I didn't think to hold on to the receipt. Only thing I ever hold on the receipt for is expensive items like a computer or something...

    Cash vs. credit

This is true...and I think its total BULL. I ALWAYS tip...never have I not tipped a bartender...and last year when I bought drinks at the Vinyl, I had an $18 tip added on to my $12 bill...what possesses them to add in the tip themselves? I don't think that's very polite...especially if I've...

Fun things to do for a day trip in Atlanta?

Awwww...that's no fun...the elevator ride up to the top is half the fun, being able to see the city as you go up. But, at least you can still go to the top! That building looks awful right now. I can actually see it from my office window and it looks worse now than it did when the tornado...

Fun things to do for a day trip in Atlanta?

Just a tip...you may want to check and see if this is still an option. After the tornado that tore through downtown Atlanta last March, the Westin is still waaaaay out of sorts...Most of the windows are still missing and there's no telling if the restaurant still "rotates" around. I would hate...

New to ProgPower: what should I expect?

I highly recommend using cash for all transactions, even though the restaurant (Vinyl) takes credit cards...Last year I used my debit/credit card and the bartender decided to write in an $18 tip for himself. That won't happen again this year...cash only for me!! :)

    Fringe

I have heard rumors that this show may have links to LOST...thought that was really interesting since I did see some similarities with the whole time travel and such. Anyone else think this too?

yeah i know what you're talking about...still can't beat having a great story told TO YOU, instead of having to read it though. I'm not a huge fan of physically reading, but love story time! HAHAHA!

    Headliner #2 Confirmed:

sorry I'm such a late bloomer on this one, but felt the need to say how much I like Amorphis...I had never heard of them before they were announced as headliner, so I figured I would check them out...I must say, I'm very impressed and I enjoy their latest album very much! Very much looking...

    Scar Symmetry

I LOVE SCAR SYMMETRY!! One of my fav bands....I don't think they would be too much on an "oddball" at ProgPower...I actually think that Mercenary is very comparable and they weren't considered "oddball"...I would LOVE it for them to be at ProgPower!! That would RULE!

Anyone feel guilty about flying to Atlanta?

Nah...go see the Arctic...sounds like a once in a lifetime type trip. It would probably take just as much energy (if not more) to get that book shipped to you as it would to just fly up there and see it for yourself. Don't deny yourself something as amazing as seeing the Arctic.
