- Katatonia sounded excellent and had one of the best light shows I've ever seen. I would have liked more older songs thrown in but it was good. - Did not like Amaranthe. - Pain was ok. Didn't keep my attention for more than a song or two. - Did not like Snowy Shaw, - Dynazty was good.

Mike Portnoy's Shattered Fortress was amazing. Blew me away. Myrath was good. Singing from the floor was a nice touch.

Metal Church played a great set. I'm most familiar with Blessing and Human Factor, so starting with Fake Healer was just awesome. Between The Buried and Me were about what I expected. To me it doesn't really feel like they play "songs," but a string of riffs one after the other. It works for...

Had a great time overall. My only jeer is that the vocals during the Fates Warning set and Devin Townsend Project set were very quiet, especially since I could hear everyone around me singing along better than I could hear the actual singers.

I never liked Rage with Smolski in the band. Maybe I'll be interested again with this new line up. Really excited for Refuge next year.
