the reason ? (a personal one) after listening 3.58 mins of intense changes this song makes a drastic 180 degree turn and falls into a flouting air jam where bass starts a solo followed by the guitar. there is a similar part in Excessist but only this one went beyond my expectation.

I was referring to the musical aspect which is for me the absolute important one. In art, we can't count with things such as luck, money or power. art is a gift regardless to the things previously mentioned. Most of the genius have been unfairly criticized and underestimated along the history...

there are two simple reasons for a band to succeed. one is talent and the other one is sacrifice.

What about Paul Masvidal (Cynic)? ;) he also played in Gordian knot and his style is not too far from this band.... i think he could be a big help :dopey:

In my case there is not much to ask from these guys, but still would like to suggest another lead guitar which share solos w/ Steinar Gundersen. And please don't change anything else.... the first album was so great in every aspect ... even the audio quality ... we got HDCD :worship:

Working with additional musicians is also a good resource and they could contribute in any aspect even in the emotional one... music is mood, spirit, ideas. Differences among musicians make the challenge greater. so far there is always a point of convergence. i remember when Andy LaRocque...
