Since there's really no forum for it... does anyone know anything about the metal scene in Iceland? How does it compare with its eastern counterparts? Lots of black metal? I ask this because I'm considering studying abroad there next Fall semester.

I'm looking for Elizabethian/Orchestral metal bands like...oh say, Apocalyptica. I sort of get that vibe from Opeth -reminds me of early Jethro Tull; might be the vocalist... I could be insane. I checked out Bal-Sagoth, which is pretty cool, but I was hoping there were some out there closer to...
