here's my reamping of "Rose Of Sharyn", Engl Savage 120 into Marshall 1960A cab (G12T-75), no ts, miced with single 57, Vintech pre. No treatment at all (no C4, no filters...), it's totally raw. What do you think ? It's the 2-tracks version, no quadtracking.

Jacob Hansen recently used this mic to reamp the guitars on the album of my band. It sounds great, these mics are ridiculously cheap, I think I'm gonna afford one soon for my guitar sounds. 57 + A51 in front of guitar cabs should work well. Any experience with those ? Samples ?

I just read somewhere that Andy uses a multiband comp on the bass in his mixes. I sometimes do it and it sounds good, but you have to take care about the amount of comp and where you compress to, else it can sound flat. I use the Waves C4 these days and I only compress the 40-250 Hz area. How...
