I do not know if the following question has been answered or not, so please forgive my ignorance.
Does anyone know if we would be able to purchase the new cd, before its official release, at the show on Friday?
I have listened to it a bunch of times, but so far I can say that I don't care for it as a whole. Sure some parts are really good, but the lack of any sort of continuity kills me.
If someone could post or Finn could tell us what order to listen to the tracks in, I might change my mind.
I don't think some of those suggestions have what I am really going after.
Glenn - Thanks for the Mastery band. I don't think my friend would dig them, but I sure do
Urinal - If you like Beyond the Arctopus, you might like this band called Aletheian
A friend of mine really digs the music of melodic death metal, but really doesn't like the vocals.
Does anyone know an instrumental band that plays that type of music (think the song by In Flames "Wayfarer")? Or can anyone think of band with a really good singer and good lyrics with that sound?
Porno Daddy rocks man. It also has one of Mattias' craziest solos.
I would be in heaven if they played Mr. Kaschei (sp?). That would be an awesome final song.
It is hard for me to say which Crimson album I like better. I or II. Both have amazingly brilliant parts, especially the 15 second or so growl 2/3 into the way of the first one.
The other two albums of theirs (that I have) are "The Spectral Sorrows" and "Purgatory Afterglow." Both are...
Don't like Alder's vocals? Man. The old stuff or the relatively newer stuff? Due to my love of his voice, it is hard for me to imagine anyone not liking his singing style.
Fullness of Time is quite a good album with excellent songwriting and singing. I am highly excited at the prospect...
New music I have been rocking out to:
Savage Circus
Devin Townsend - synchestra
Ulver - blood inside
Adagio - Dominate
Green Carnation - Acoustic Verses
Dissection - Reinkaos
Not new but recently got:
Edge of Sanity - Spectral Sorrows
Metal Church - Blessing in Disguise...
That game originated from the Olmecs and spread all across Central America. I would have loved to see it actually played. *Pondering* I wonder if it is still played...minus sacrifice.
In any case, I don't think that game was meant for oranges to be hurled at people's asses.
Haha, I played D&D tonight.
D20.
"And who says you can't get by on a smile and good looks alone?"
second best quote of the day. the first was from my friend who said "I will take it up the rear" (regarding marching order, of course.)
