I actually kept up this year better than most, so I'd actually heard many of Glenn's choices this year, which is not usually the case!! Loved Redemption (although I do miss Ray Alders vocals) and Michael Romeo for sure. Ostura is fantastic for sure, new, different, and just plain great music...

I love these guys too. Ian Rockett's guitar is super unique, and I do like the new vocalist too. Their last album was good and I bought it, but it didn't do for me what The World We Used to Know did for me (which blew me away). Hoping this one will be really good as well

Well, I've stopped being a DT fan because most of their music simply sucked in the past few years. Formulaic, boring, shredding and noise. Portnoy is a partial psycho, and his voice is bad. His drumming is bland too. But I don't think they will ever be great again anyway, as they are hooked...
