Nasheim review in Rock Hard - german translation needed

He's not saying the runes are "unprofessional" in that there are spelling mistakes or the like... I think he's just alluding to the runes as being a ridiculous element of style ("One immediately feels the urge to take a course on 'paganism for beginners'" [roughly translated irony]). Even...

HOLY SHIT (LITERALLY) NEW POPE OMG

 That's Germany's best-selling newspaper with the amazing headline "WE ARE POPE". Finally, after two lost world wars and the aching memory of 2002's world cup final, the Germans attain a little bit of Weltmacht.

HOLY SHIT (LITERALLY) NEW POPE OMG

He's called Joseph, not Lars ;) And starting in 1936, participation in the Hitlerjugend was mandatory... Still, Ratzinger is evil as fuck. Just look at this: Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen, Lord Vader...

My bad, NAD. You were RIGHT!

Wow, I thought I was the only one here who loved Beck... "Mutations" is a fantastic album. I've only heard random stuff off "Sea Change", but it seems just as good. Also, the Futurama episode with Beck rocks :D

    Spiritual Beggars - Demons

I finally managed to get a hold of "Demons" - it's definitely a step up from "On Fire" (and that was a good album), though I'm not sure yet if it beats "Ad Astra". JayKeeley, unused copies of "Ad Astra" still seem to be available at amazon.de. The price is quite steep, but at least it's new...

    Porcupine Tree - Deadwing

I'm having a hard time trying to "grasp" Deadwing - it's much more progressive and a lot gloomier than any of PT's previous releases, if you ask me. That said, I think the two epic songs are fantastic, and "Halo" is definitely up there with the best material Wilson has written. Still, I like...

Have you ever done any illicit drugs?

With me, it is not an ideological thing at all. I just never felt the slightest interest in consuming any kind of drugs. Also, I'm afraid a have a VERY addictive personality (as proven by my mindless consumption of chocolate :D), so I don't think I could handle drugs at all.

Uh, I don't know... I think Dornenreich are incredibly silly and pretentious, especially the lyrics. But most of the time I've been alone with this opinion, so...

The new BRUCE DICKINSON album has leaked.

The title track's first lines are from Macbeth. Bruce is a witch! Also, he kicks ass.

    Victorious March, synthetic Techno-Remix!!

Sure, I'll tell them what you think. I don't get the chance to meet them very often though, they live in a mental institution and the director there is pretty strict. He has to be, since FATUM are potentially dangerous - they want to incite a revolution, after all! I fear no foreigners, our...

    Victorious March, synthetic Techno-Remix!!

Oh, make no mistake, that's not me singing. I am in no way affiliated with the art of Fatum and I would never be able to bring forth such godly sounds of mighty peacockery. I am just an awe-stricken admirer of Fatum's incredible body of work. By the way (this might console you), I was and I am...

    Victorious March, synthetic Techno-Remix!!

Wrong, my friend! See, when Amon Amarth play "Victorious March" (known as "SIEGREICHER MARSCH" around here), it is a run-of-the-mill white-knuckle metal-anthem in the tradition of well known performers like Saxon or Joseph Goebbels. When Fatum play it, it becomes thinking man's Vaterunser, the...
