On a positive note, this lineup is solid for the fest and will no doubt bring another sell out....the downside is it does nothing for me so I'll be staying home this year, which is probably good since I need to save money..lol. Glad to see you guys are continuing to build a solid fest...

Do not get what people saw in this band..had Screams & Whispers and was one of 10 CD's I actually sold in my life...just to give you an idea of how bad something must be for me to sell it....I still have my copy of St Anger.

I know a lot of people felt that way last year but I kind of have to disagree with you. Last year's choices of Iced Earth & Testament fit more in line with this type of fest and the bands and the fan base. I think the headliners last year were so strong that it was really hard to not have them...

Agreed....having seen Soil many times with both guys I have to say AJ is pretty much just short of awful, I never could get into his vocals. I did enjoy Scars and even some of the follow up but beyond that the band hasn't done much for me and I've seen them live enough for one life...

That's not a discount at all..those are all the same rates available if you book on their website. Rob - I'd call them back and request something since you're giving them A LOT of business, the rate they quoted you appears to the normal everyday rate.

Axl fascinates me....the guy obviously has some mental issues.....honestly I'm not entirely sure if Axl really realizes how big he is or how important GNR is to music...

I think that's it right there, for the first few months it was something I had to sit and fight with myself about everyday, I would spend hours arguing back and forth with myself about needing to workout ect, actually there were days where I would spend more time convincing myself I needed to do...

It took me a couple listens..each go around I found a little more that rocked. He still has it live too, at least he did when I saw him in 03. His voice is actually a little cleaner sounding than it used to be.

Part of me wants to dislike it but after many listens I can't..it's solid, real solid..and I agree about the guitar work, some of the best I've heard in years. It's an interesting album in that you get all sorts of different sounds from old school gnr, to very modern to everything in between...

I enjoy listening to the live tracks...the video portion is just not watchable.

I was really looking forward to it and also very let down by it......
