I'll be there, trying to avoid most of the crowds. :o Staying at the Sheraton, which, while an older hotel, is one of the best of the DragonCon host hotels. I'll be in the pool a lot. :D

There is a bar at the hotel just off the lobby and many attendees will patronize it. Many will also BYOB to the courtyard. That's a lot easier (and less obvious) for people staying at the Artmore. The courtyard will almost always have at least a few blackshirts present, pretty much any hour...

Better late than never...but yeah, if it's the same vid I'm thinking of there were several of us gathered there. Just down the Promenade from us, Dani Filth was sitting and chatting with fans. It's THAT kind of casual atmosphere.

Looking forward to it, along with an ever-growing number of PPUSA veterans. After a long wait for announcements, the bands have been coming in thick and fast. It's not a cheap ticket by any means, but it's a lot of fun and a wide variety of bands.

These guys were a lot of fun on 70K. It's not normally my thang, but any band with a ninja-elf is a force to be reckoned with. :)
