Ambient Progressive Metal Band Oceans of Night release new CD, MINDSTORM.

Ambient progressive metal band, Oceans of Night - lead by multi-instrumentalist and composer Scott Mosher - have released their new CD, Mindstorm, which continues on the musical path they have forged over the past decade: music that affirms that same atmospheric-laden progressive metal they've...

I guess Ray is taking one for the team on this one. :err:

    QUEENSRŸCHE - Condition Hüman

HITNF was basically a Tate/DeGarmo solo project and I think after that, DeGarmo was running on empty - creatively (duh!) and, possibly (shhh... don't TELL anyone!) fed-up with the melodrama Tate was starting to let overtake him. That said, the few songs I've heard from this are quite promising...

Just a quick note - new Oceans of Night: Midnight Rising - is out.

Hey Cats. Should be on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and quite a number of other cyber retailers and online stores. Drop me a message and I can probably get you a direct link, or check out the OON site. We're still working the PR machine, so I'm accumulating more retailers and distribution deals when...

    NIGHTWISH in the USA

I'm totally down with that show, except I'm not sure I can front the $125 without having to sell a kidney.

Just a quick note - new Oceans of Night: Midnight Rising - is out.

This has been keeping me (well, us, even Alan) busy for the better part of the year or so, so feel free to surf on over and check out some song samples and our musical offerings. Ok, back to your regularly scheduled PPUSA forum festivities. :) http://www.oceansofnight.com/discography.html...

    Cheers 'n Jeers '12

Well said, well put and well played by all participants in the posse, intentionally or not. It was pretty epic, wasn't it? And yeah, Acid-tripping Noodle Girl was certainly one of the more entertaining highlights. Imagine what she could do, Gangnam-Style?

    Cheers 'n Jeers '12

Hahaha! I thought she was planted for "audience entertainment". Was this the chick on the floor, all the way to the right? Our posse had hours of entertainment from here mere presence and "dance style" alone. Noodle dancing and shimmying to Mystic Prophecy and Pretty Maids - well, whoever said...

    Who should front NW now?

Definitely NOT Simone Simmons - that would be revisiting the Tarja-era with the screeching operatic vocal style. My ears and CD player couldn't take it... :) But - isn't this is now a moot point? Is Floor Jensen the official now moving forward? Should be interesting to see how this shapes up...

    Now Annette out of Nightwish

Imagine this: Blaze Bailey in Nightwish (or, if you want to get even more involved in self-flagellation, in Kamelot.)

    Now Annette out of Nightwish

It's going to be even more interesting to hear how she fits into the Nightwish sound. I'm on the fence about what I've heard so far. I don't think it will be Tarja-era II or Anette-era II, but the verdict is out for me until I hear some new material with Floor on vocals and (perhaps) involved in...

    Now Annette out of Nightwish

I would be. If by some chance, Hell Freezes Over and The Eagles disband, and this event actually occurs (odds are infinitesimally small I would imagine consider Arch/Matheos is an actual recognized band now) the earth certainly would be shaken from its orbit and the blood-soaked ears of the...

    Now Annette out of Nightwish

It was a (semi) joke, dude. I alluded to the situation where the hardcore (insert old singer here:__________) fanboy(s) are seemingly frothing at the mouth the second there seems to be dissent in the ranks in a beloved band (Fates, Nightwish, etc) and start gloating about the possibilities of...

    Now Annette out of Nightwish

I don't see or hear that at all. She had great melodies, you could understand the words, her mid range was great, and her voice complimented the music. The popularity of the band and record sales, I think, represent the step-up in the vocal delivery department, I think. Btw, Tarja ain't coming...
