I love Progpower USA. Doro played Thursday night and was LOOOONG overdue to play a PPUSA show. They were fantastic !! We even had a nice little mosh pit. She absolutely ripped the place down !!! It was one of the best shows I have seen.

I disagree with you Brother Vern. I think JLT is a great singer. His problem was that he is a great singer of stuff like AOR and such, not a great metal/hard rock singer. I thought he was great with Yngwie though.

I absolutely loved Lance with Balance of Power. His stuff after that I liked less. Vocals are still outstanding, but I didn't like the musical style as much with the other bands. The one clip sounds promising though.

This is Havok. Really good thrash band with a lot of Slayer influence, but they have enough of their own sound that they don't sound rehashed.

You are the reason why Yngwie has so much money. He is a guitar player that is so good, he connected with non-guitar players. You don't have to understand string skipping techniques and bla bla bla theory to realize this guy is a monster. He plays stuff that sounds good. What more do you want ?

I love Dio era Rainbow, but I also love Dio era Sabbath and well, Dio era Dio is the only Dio. Holy Diver is pretty badass. The title track of TLIL is also one of his best. Hard to choose the best era Dio. He was a Demi-God. Metal lost it's Sacred Heart when he died.
