thats pretty intersting ... i did these tests a year ago, maybe they improved the profliling process OR the a/d on the rack version is different (which i doubt)... i gotta try this with the new firmware. btw. tone is incredibly good.

youll hear a HUGE difference when comparing the profile vs the miced signal NOT passing the kempers a/d + whatever it does to the signal, because thats pretty drastic. it cuts away a lot below 200 HZ (which the kemper still has problems to recreate). dont get me wrong : i love the kemper, and...

yes, thats the reason we went for the module. its expensive, yeah, but i dont want to rely on a mac on stage for drumsamples. latency is not an issue with the 2box, and IF it should ever crash... this thing restarts in 5 seconds.

thanks! the secret to this production for me was the parallel mastering. i slammed my g ssl and mixed that underneth the original mix. makes the slow part explooode. almost edm like.

haha, i had a good laugh. produced "conjoined twin octopus" animal cop in january 2012. kemper on guitars/bass even keys (distorted the synths slightly so they fit the overall mood better). snare is all "real", no samples. hope you like it!
