The Atlanta Record Show will take place this Sunday, September 21st at the following location:

There's usually a good selection of metal cds, courtesy of Mike from Exploding Ned's, who was one of the vendors at ProgPower. There's also a nice selection of bootlegs, many of which are from local shows. They should have the Queensryche and Dream Theater sets from the Tabernacle, for example.
So, for those of you who are frustrated with the selection at your local record store, you might want to give this show a try. They might not have everything, but the selection is certainly better than your neighborhood Best Buy.
Please be aware, however, that admission is not free; it cost me either $2 or $3 to get in for the show in July.
