New albums heading out soon. Always like to check new folk metal albums in case they are good and both of these are seemingly very much that.
Heidevolk is a Dutch folk band that sings in an old extinct Dutch language. Some of you folksters out there will know the band well as their previous album ruled. This one is easily going to top it judging by this 3 minute cllp of a new song. Sounds epic, heavy and manly.

Fenrir is not a band I've heard of and this is their debut full length and they are French but sound completely Scandi. Didn't know that they have a female singer as I thought it was going to be growls but she has a sweet and pleasant voice. The music is happy celtic folk with nice melodies which make you tap your toe. I enjoy melodic folk albums of this ilk.
