They remind me of Firewind musically. The guitar playing is really shit hot, however the vocals are just average. Though considering the guy is playing guitar as well he's ok I suppose. If you enjoy the heavier end of power metal then Gauntlet is worth a shot.

I don't know..his vocals don't sound average to me, not at all. He has balance, variety, he basically is capable of everything. In their latest album he goes everywhere with his voice because the songs change styles. In the one in the first video he starts with an alternative type of voice (reminds me of Stone Temple Pilots, not that I like them), but he moves from there to a much more powerful stance within the song. You can find the whole album in youtube (41 minutes, 9 songs) in a single video. The first cut is a Slayer "South of Heaven" like song (I am not comparing, but it does follow that trend), and his voice matches up very well, he can even do death like the best of them. The thing about the album is that they move from style to style, but they do everything very, very well, and this guy's voice is very responsible for that. Something else is that they have to define themselves, but they can pretty much go with anything they want.
