The Lasers Edge is announcing that they will not be releasing The Origin Of Consciouness, the upcoming release from The Underground Railroad.
After many delays, Kurt Rongey and Bill Pohl finished production of the album last week. Unfortunately our schedule for the remainder of 2005 and early 2006 is locked in and there is no way for us to accommodate the release. I did not think it was fair for Kurt and Bill to have to wait at least a year for the release of the album. I have suggested to them that find an appropriate home for the album that will be able to afford them an earlier street date.
The Origin Of Consciousness shows tremendous growth from the band. I am sure that it will captivate any fan of Through And Through and bring new ones on board. I look forward to its eventual release and I wish Kurt, Bill, John and Matt all the best.
