Is it better than Rocket Ride? Eh, yes and no. The good, metal songs are better than the ones on Rocket Ride, those could have fit in well on Hellfire Club IMO. But as a rock writer, Tobias actually seems to be going backwards. He's still an A-class heavy metal songwriter, but he's now a C-level hard rock writer.
