Hi there boys and girls!
METALLOID is pleased to announce that we have been invited to open the second day of the 2-day event a.k.a. The Last Weekend at the Ruskin Arms this Saturday.
The 2-Day Event (this Saturday & Friday) is being organised on the 14th and the 15th of November in association with Clive Aid.
All of us in METALLOID are very excited and are really looking forward to this wonderful opportunity of playing the last night of the Legendary Ruskin Arms, famously known as the Home of our Heroes IRON MAIDEN!
The band would like to specially thank Clive Leighton and Sam Hill for making this happen for METALLOID!

"It is with a great deal of sadness that to 'progress' London's dwindling housing stock that the legendary Ruskin Arms is to close for good. The Ruskin became famous as the 'home' of the fledgling Iron Maiden and has even given a stage to countless bands and even the mighty Status Quo.
To make sure this classic venue gets the send off it deserves, Clive Aid have been asked to organise their last ever gigs. Clear your diaries for Friday and Saturday 14/15th November 2008.
The line up is shaping up nicely and will contain some of the greatest British NWOBHM bands to have lived with the addition of some very cool new bands.
