There's not going to be very much prog at PP next year but that's not because good prog is not out there to enjoy. New band hailing from Rome, Utopia, is phenomenal. With their release "Ice and Knives" that came out earlier this year, these guys are sure to make their mark. I hear some Lemur Voice mixed with some Pagan's Mind type riffing in spots, just to give an indication of what they are about. This band is all about musicianship. Talented to say the least. All the power and death metal fans will want to pass on this. It's nowhere near repetitve and simple enough for that crowd to enjoy. It requires some thought to hang with this band.
