the scarecrow's been sitting on the porch chair for about a week.
the first time I did this[12 years ago] come halloween,
I dressed up exactly like the scarecrow and waited.
the woman next door brought her two kids over, and as she was leaving,
I reached out and grabbed her arm!
You could've heard her scream a mile away.
she wet her pants, and never really considered me again to be a nice neighbor. but the rest of the block had a good laugh
