    I think Adam likes using a RAT pedal for his distorted bass tones blended with a DI/amp signal... I know he ended up tuning down to A for this...

    I use a 5150 II unboosted for dirty and switch over to my other pickup with the gain/volume knob dialed back on my guitar for a clean/slighty...
