Good job, nicely ballanced. Frequency wise I'd take out a little bit in a ears piercing area (hi mids) and make the whole mix a little bit wider...
Levels man! Work on it first, then focus on midrange area which eats most of your mix. Hope it helps. Keep mixing though!
Hey dude, It sounds nice to my ears. I will pop to my studio tomorrow and will play it again through my Adam A77X's and Genelec's 8350A monitors...
Hi dude, It doesn't sound good to me. Not acceptable at all. You need to work hard on your mixing skills. What is your equipment? Headphones,...
Using couple of mixing techniques you'd be able to get the tone using the snare sample you linked. First of all your sample is tuned slightly...
Really nice job dude :) What can I say. Your mixes are better and better and at this stage you don't need any criticism such as: this is so loud,...
Does it slower than original?
Really good mix FrankTheSmith. Nicely balanced. Good job :)
Guitars are a little bit to loud to my ears and make a small midrange scoop to sit them better in the mix. Bring overheads to live - they are to...
Nice mix but the snare drum is really awful. Doesn't sound good at all to my taste. To loud, to much room etc... Good song though!
No, no... I mean low end is under control sometimes.
As a starting point: drums are to empty, too dry. Try parallel comp + add decent reverb to the snare drum. TBC :)
You are on a good way. Cut ear piercing frequencies. Too high!
Killer mix, good job. Too loud a little to my taste and too low at some points. Low end eats some energy here and there. But as I said before -...
For me the mix doesn't work at all. Start from scratch and use some decent reference tracks. Post progress of your work.
Great job. Killer mix. I like the way you want to get your own style/sound and it works very good :) Well done :)
Using tons of plugins often ruin the mix :) But you are on a good way. Make the snare drum less "boxy" and scoop volume a little on a kick's "click".
Love the band, they are great. Here my thoughts: Bad for: still the same, nothing new, for some people boring. Maybe I'll change my ming after...
Single - bridge pickup only. Cheap Ibanez GSR200 with active EQ on board (all to the max). Guitar went through MXR M80 - hence deep clean tone and...
DI track - LP at 600Hz Wet Track - Kemper Ampeg profile - LP 2.8k HP 750 (this is the core of the sound) Both tracks go to one group: CLA Bass (it...
