    need input from experienced drum dudes

    I prefer the tone of Superkick I/IIs but Powerstrokes will give you more attack and volume, which can be nice if you rehearse without a kick mic

    Paiste Signature Sound Edges sound great to me, pretty spendy but you might be able to track down a used set. Sabian Vaults are nice as well
