So is every Metallica ballad about Cliff Burton?

Get that sand out of your vaginas.

Hearing these again is making me foam at the mouth in anticipation - In memoriam is going to be a difficult one for me to listen to. Found myself getting somewhat emotional, even during that minute-long sample.

As was I. The clean solo sounded great too!

I'm sure there was some inspired meaning to Beethoven behind it, but the great thing is that the listener can interpret their own meaning to it. That's what I do when I listen to instrumental music/music without clear lyrics.

It's better than Infected Nations. Hands down. I like the more melodic direction, a lot.

I'd probably agree with this if I could remember the full tracks

I think this is guaranteed to get a glowing review from me

Listened to it again today at work. Origin of Oblivion, Centurion, and In Dreams of Terror made me headband. Really hard.

Those fast riffs sounded killer. I noticed lots of mid paced rocking riffs but that fast stuff is just wicked. Can't wait to hear the solo's!

Please don't ever use the terms br00tal or breakdown in relation to Evile again. Not even in jest.

Next album will be br00tal breakdowns, sick killer pinch harmonics, no solos, screaming and growls and more breakdowns.

Joking aside, tell you what, i can not even begin to describe how seriously proud i am of this new album. It is exactly what i love about heavy metal. SINGING. RIFFS. SOLOS. SONGS.

    Bastard!

But amen to that. The SONGS are important, rather than just a mishmash of... stuff.
