I actually like a few Portishead songs, mostly "Humming". Very freaky music for sure.

It's good.. but like most Moonspell there's too little interesting guitars. The extremity in it is definitely a step up though. I always enjoyed their vocs.

Both excellent albums. I'm not a huge Draconian fan but this album is definitely worth a listen, and DD's Lost to the Living is even better than Dismantling Devotion.

Really looking forward to both of these releases the most. Two of my favorite bands. :kickass:

Mar De Grisis, Isole, Ikuinen Kaamos, Throes Of Dawn, & Hanging Garden are all great bands too.

There is also Mercenary's new album Architect of Lies. It's not quite as good as past works such as 11 Dreams or The Hours That Remain but still impressive nonetheless.

It's shaping up to be a good year:

    1. In Mourning - The Shrouded Divine
    2. Bloodbath - Unblessing the Purity
    3. Akira Yamaoka - Silent Hill Origins
    4. Arsis - We Are the Nightmare
    5. Agalloch - The White
    6. The Gutter Twins - Saturnalia
    6. Meshuggah - obZen
    7. Baroness - The Red Album
    8. Dismember - Dismember

Need to listen to the new Textures, Mourning Beloveth, Ihsahn, Moonspell and the new Lanegan/Campbell collaboration a bit more. Quite a lot, yes:) The new Ayreon and Opeth albums are the biggest dissapointments of the year so far for me.
