This is not a most important METAL band list it is just an important band list. Get rid of Marilyn Manson and throw in Black Sabbath or Pink Floyd and I think it's all right. All those bands are innovators of genres, even if I and most other metalheads dislike them.

I love how it's a "most important bands ever" list, free of genres, yet The Beatles don't get mentioned.
I don't see how Norma Jean are influencel they've only been around for a little while and they're not doing anything most other metalcore bands are doing. Maybe I haven't heard enough of them, but I definitely would not consider them anymore important than any other metalcore bands.

Korn ahead of Priest? BULLSHIT! 11 - Bon Jovi No. 10 - Nirvana Very influential and I admit to liking In Untero but debatable... 9 - Pantera Pantera is awful. 8 - Faith No More Good band but no. 7 - Slayer HELL YES!!! 6 - Ozzy Osbourne Great early stuff but Sabbath is better and should be on the list. 5 - Green Day One of the WORST bands EVER. Fuck Green Day. I hate this shit. 4 - AC/DC Totally overrated... no. 3 - Metallica Early Metallica HELL YES... new Metallica HELL NO. 2 - Guns N Roses Yes. Great. 1 - Iron Maiden Hell yes.
