what does the 7 string electric guitar i know is exist but i never seen someone whit it.... you....
who metal band got one
unearth plays 7 string guitars
Hypocrisy uses 7-string guitars.
Nevermore uses 7 stringed guitars. Behemoth uses them on a few songs. They are nice, i have one. the 7 strings have more range than a 6 string guitar
Nevermore, Jag Panzer, Nocturnal Rites, Behemoth on the last album, Meshuggah, and Zero Hour.
The clear answer is Zero Hour. Listen to that shiz.
The 7th string is a low B, essentially adding a high bass guitar string to an electric guitar. It allows for interesting tunings and more bass-heavy tone.
John Petrucci plays 7-string. It goes well with a 5+ string bass, allowing heavy riffs on the low B. Joe Satriani plays the 7 occasionally as well... he has a song called "7 String".
Meshuggah. And Korn:zombie: not metal but uses them anyways.
EDIT:Shizzy, didn't see Meshuggah already listed.
Meshuggah use 8 strings, and they're bassy as fuck.
No Meshuggah has and most likely still uses 7 string guitars to create their incredibly dull music.
And i love you too.
i use one too. a jackson kelly.
They used to use 7 strings, now they use 8 strings. And I love their music.
Here is a pic.
Yes, my friend actually showed me this recently, even more muddy dribble coming soon it seems.
hehe, not my favourite band, but they're ok. How is an eight string guitar strung? BEADGBEA or GBEADGBE or something even wierder? Confused...
