Ooooo, that's a girl  because of the clothes I thought that it's a guy

Off- topic: Did you see Nightwish and were they good live? I truly love their new album, but I have no idea how will it sound live, especially the song Scaretale and the part, when Anette sings SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALING PIGS XD

Thanks for the link, elli  I'd love to see the whole thing! Would be great if someone in COB's camp might have filmed that, and Alexi and Jeff Waters' karaoke 'Turbo Lover', for inclusion in a future COB dvd :D

I took footage of Jeff Waters and Alexi doing Turbo Lover at karaoke. Don't know if you guys can see this link tho, cuz it's on my fb, but try it out: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10100791157525831

    Also, some pics:

1st night, Alex and I ended up hanging out with Roope for a few hoursØ

This is when I got to meet the guys at the meet and greet:

Classic Alexi pic from the 1st show. And yes, there was a surprise song in the 1st set list. They played KTS as the 2nd song!!

And I know this isn't Bodom-related, but I fucking LOVE Jeroen's (from Pestilence) 7 string fretless bass. I was just standing in front of him, during both their sets, in awe at how he handles that monster of a bass. Also had a great chat about bass technique with him later on after their 2nd show.

Just to share more of the experience with you guys, here are some more non-Bodom related pics.

Dark Funeral had to be one of the best performances on the entire ship. First black metal band to play on a cruise...fucking priceless.

This is during Jeff Water's guitar clinic. I wasn't too familiar with him nor Annihilator before this cruise, but he seems to be such an awesome guy, a bit goofy and has a great sense of humor. Very tight guitarist as well, loved his playing.

There were 3 stages on board. Here is the pool deck stage, late evening:

    And at night:

For the Alexi-fan boys, fan-girls. Me, Alexi's "friend/gf/whatever", and Alexi. They wanted to be ghetto for the night so they decided on bright yellow and purple track suites. At the back of Alexi's track suit, it reads "Easy-A" haha.

For some of you Alestorm fans:

Another one of my favorite performances was by Cannibal Corpse. I don't even listen to them regularly, but holy shit. You just wanna head bang throughout their entire set. I've decided I'm going to all their shows when they're playing here in LA from now on.

Alex Webster from CC, my favorite metal bassist at the moment:

And it was such an honor actually getting to meet him. We had a long chat about bass technique. He's one of the few bassists who has actually written a book on bass technique, so I had a lot of questions for him.
