Probably just a super band-pass filter in the mids (1k, maybe?)

Going for a phone/AM radio will involve a very strong cut of anything not around 750-1000 Hz the way it's used now. Add clipping (a little before and a little after) for a more 'authentic' megaphone.

Okay, seriously... heavenshell, I have to look up netspeak-English dictionaries and completely suspend any respect for the proper order of letters in common words to understand you. Can anyone help me out here?

Yeah, I mean come on, is it just me, or do most people these days have no knowledge of grammar, and punctuation? I know this is the internet, and thus it's not required for people to type in full sentences with correct spelling, but it sure as hell makes things easier to read if you do. For instance, I couldn't even be bothered to read heavenshell's post, but I actually read Jeff's post. :)

I think it's supposed to be "grammar", not "grammer"... ;-)... he he. Anyway... I completely agree with you cobhc and Jeff. That heavenshell post was just hilarious :-D.

Haha. I love it when you read the first three words of a post and think to yourself "oh fuck, he's gonna get it" and just wait for the first flames to burst :D

Isn't that "one's" instead of "ones"? <insert awkward laughter here>

No, because you're not replacing "one is". You only add the " 's " in situations such as " Andy is going to mix ", where it becomes " Andy's going to mix ".

Using the search function may yield a lot of great results for the OP. I know I've seen at least 3 threads for this featuring replies with recommendations.
