Greedy Fly was also a great song. Though, it was on there next album after 16 Stones it was the only one I liked on it.

I like some of the rap stuff......the beats sound good..but then I remember the lifestyle that it depicts and well....I am confused :p

A while ago I made an 80's playlist on iTunes, wich included Forever Young, Africa, Hold the line and Jump for my love, among others! :) Sometimes I enjoy singing along to those songs, but I am quite ashamed about it... Now the internet knows :)

The only legitimate response to this I can think of is for people living in strictly controlled countries where listening to certain music is criminal.

I don't think bands like Flight of the conchords or Tenacious D can be legitimately mentioned here, they are after all self-confessed joke bands.

How is that? I adore Joss Wheadon and Nathan Fillion and those guys and I haven't seen that yet.

Tenacious D owns.. Dethklok owns.. they're both parodic/joke bands. I don't know about the other one.

Well that's what you think. I always thought Metalocalypse was really fun and I laugh a lot when watching it. Also their album is quite good.

But I think it's cool to hate on things. So they suck. Objectively.

It's been My Chemical Romance, Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon and Sam Sparro for guitly pleasures lately. I don't know or care if I should be at all ashamed though.

When confronted with this rappers usually say that they were brought up in a certain environment, they grew up a certain way and to pretend otherwise would be fake. Most (respected) rappers of the gangsta variety are usually telling the truth when they say this.

Some gangsta rappers revel in it (50 Cent) while others provide insights into the trials of growing up that way and try to rally a change in the community (half of 2pac's stuff).
