    Why is there so much hype around Opeth? They are such an overrated band. After Orchid they lost touch with themselves and started to release crap. It is too bad, for Orchid is a masterpiece. Obviously I will get bashed here, but frankly they suck nowadays.

    I suck for saying that.

    ROFL...imo Orchid by far the weakest albom of opeth and the only one i actually really dislike...musically,lyrically...well at all.

    Morningrise for gold award ;)
    The best will be Damnation though, i just feel it!

    I like Orchid, but it's not their best album by any means.

    Having said that, I do like "Under the Weeping Moon" a lot. :)

    Orchid? Where the hell have you been? They lost touch with themselves shortly after they first rehearsed together...by the time any kind of demo came around they were commercial whores.

    yeah, they sold out and lost their magic WAYYY before Orchid was released. What a crappy band. They only were good when they rehearsed at home on older unreleased songs. The Morningrise bonus and the Orchid bonus ALMOST captured that.....
