Fucking great epicness, this soundtrack really deserves a better Conan movie.

This album doesn't suffer obvious overlength like a lot of their others. A couple weaker songs (especially Wedding Day), but overall well-executed heavy/speed. I don't listen to them a lot (mostly just when my dad happens to be playing them) but this might be their strongest.

For sheer enjoyability I'm pretty sure it's my favorite.

I've never really given Taake much of a chance, but now that they are playing MDF I figured I'd check em out (outside of that one awesome song with the banjo) and wow, really good stuff.

Going back to where it all began. 5 minutes in and only 3 notes have been played. Heavy as fuck.

Pretty confident in saying that Anacrusis is my favorite thrash band now. Can't wait for Parallax Error.

Re-visiting albums I listened to growing up and so-far they have aged brilliantly.

Definitely one of my favourite DM albums. One of many great recs from this very forum.

I am also playing Pagan Altar to death at the moment, as reminded by the poster above.

I am still beating myself for not having listened to this band sooner. Immolation is fucking awesome.

Immolation is definitely one of those few bands that I never quite got to a profound extent, despite having listened to them on and off for about 5 years. Just not the top 5 DM band that everyone makes them out to be, for me....sorry.
