What a swan song. Love this record. So 80s metal but still fucking Lizzy.

I've never been a huge Behemoth fan, but this is one of the best fucking albums I've heard in quite some time. It's their best, easily.

It's actually better than I anticipated. Those last 3 songs really round it all out phenomenally. "Nigredo" is an epic, beastly track.

It's not often I hear a full modern death metal album and hear a song that good stand out so well. Boner.

kinda felt the same about 'teeth into red' on the last one. an obvious choice maybe but it's pretty great.

I can agree with that. But that one almost seemed intentionally written to be a well liked track. "Nigredo" is so much more natural and has no contrived or forced feeling.

I could always look past the history and the old shit (De Mysteriis and earlier) and appreciate/enjoy every release. This is a solid record all around.

People praise Primordial all the time here (and rightly so). How you haven't noticed yet is bewildering.

That's not their worst album, but you definitely need to hear the Gathering Wilderness. You're not trv if you don't know the lyrics to The Coffin Ships.

I don't know how I've missed them either. I feel retarded. I'll definitely check more out soon.
