Ludicra - Another Great Love Song. 2nd time going through their material after discovering them in mid-2020.
Greek black stuff. Strong traditional metal influence. Just wish the one kind of vocals would fuck off a bit.
Max Planck - Kill the Pain. Some obscure heavy/power metal full length demo from the 80s. Saw guys talking about it on RoD and checked it out. Badass stuff and stormspell still has copies because he sucks at distributing his releases. Servants to the Tide - st True epic heavy/doomy metal like Atlantean Kodex. I thought this type of metal had all but gone extinct in the past couple years.
servants of the tide is a super promising failure to me, keeps threatening to be really good but has a few too many awkward illogical debut wobbles to get there. can see them releasing something great in the future though.
Shadow of Intent - Elegy... Fuck me man, I've listened to it over 60 times since Friday. So fucking good.
This is kinda shit but I like shitty stuff so whatever. Fairly competent slam from what kind of became an old guard band. I dont like whatever deathcore pretend shit places like Unique Leader are doing but this scratches that itch. Slams porn violence. Something actually close to death vocals too instead of squeal shit. Bought a t shirt to annoy my wife after out of no where she told me an impetigo shirt was inappropriate last month. Sick fukkkin death grind. Kept forgetting to buy this album. Shameful. And this shit just caught my eye with the art. Nasty old school shit. Incantation never die.
My wife said the same thing about one of my Exhumed shirts and a hoody with Immolation's Dawn of Possession album cover on the back.
