This is fucking awesome. Get this if you like progressive metal and melodic death metal and bands like Scar Symmetry.
They're my two favorite of the whole goon squad they're a part of. That release being the best of both bands.
I bought Brave Yester Days(2 cd digipack) used at FYE like new for 7 dollars, all the older Katatonia material(saw you drown being the only newer stuff), all mastered at the same volume. If you like older Katatonia and do not own it buy it. http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=36246
^ I bought it the day it came out despite owning everything. Hearing this for the first time, and I'm in love:
Not an album, technically speaking, but I have made a killer playlist on the MP3 player of all my favorite Metallica tunes. What better way to kill time during daily commutes but listen to Hetfield and co. These include, in chronological order: Hit the Lights The Four Horsemen Jump in the Fire Phantom Lord No Remorse Fight Fire With Fire For Whom the Bell Tolls Fade to Black Creeping Death Call of Ktulu The Thing that Should Not Be Welcome Home(Sanitarium) Orion Damage Inc. Blackened And Justice For All Eye of the Beholder One Shortest Straw The Frayed Ends of Sanity To Live is To Die The Unforgiven Wherever I May Roam Don't Tread on Me Of Wolf and Man The God that Failed
I hate this cover art. The two women need to gtfo... with them there... all I can think of is fish jokes... I'm sure most people here wouldnt bother... but this is an awesome hardcore album tinged with deathcore... and anyone that will give the core a chance should try it.
