I think Sumerian Daemons is better than Communion. The guitar riffs are way more interesting. Kicked my ass this morning
I actually don't listen to them for the riffs. I dig the atmosphere; which, of course, is created partially by the riffs, but also a lot by the orchestrations and space between the riffs.

Speaking of Septic Flesh, stick with the early stuff, Mystic Places of Dawn and Esoptron. Both excellent albums.
